Как думаете, что произошло дальше?... Я уволился с работы. Стал искать новых иностранных заказчиков, которые оценят мои творческие умения и мой беглый английский. Не прошло и месяца, как они нашли меня сами. Спустя год совместной работы, они поняли, что я хорошо с ними лажу и с легкостью решаю все задачи, благодаря приличному навыку разговорного английского. И мне вскоре предложили переезд в США с оплачиваемым жильем и постояной высокой зарплатой. Я был на седьмом небе! Рискнул, уехал и не пожалел. Удача ведь любит смелых, правда?

I started to seek new employers
= I began looking for new work-givers

who would give recognition of my creative skills and my fluent English.
= who'd value both my creative abilities and perfect English.

No sooner had a month gone by than they came across me on their own.
= Barely (ever) had a month been over than they found me themselves.

After a year of joint cooperation, they realised that I was getting along (just) fine with them
= After working with them for a year, they understood I was in tune with them.

and I was carrying out all their tasks (quite) at ease
= and I could easily cope wih all the tasks

thanks to my decent command of the English language.
= due to my splendid command of English.

I was shortly offered to move to the USA
= Soon they offered me to go to America

with subsidized accommodation and a steady highly-paid salary.
= with a paid dwelling and a nice steady salary.

I was jumping over the moon.
= I felt on top of the world.

I took a chance, went abroad and never regretted it.
= I chanced it, went overseas and wasn't sorry (for a moment).

Luck loves those bold, doesn't it?
= The brave always get fortunate, don't they?

ПОЛЕЗНЫЕ СИНОНИМЫ СЛОВ И ВЫРАЖЕНИЙ:

храбрый, смелый: brave = courageous = bold = high-hearted

сожалеть о чем-либо: to be sorry for sth = to regret sth
